Terms of use

These terms apply to Tickleaf — the website at tickleaf.app, the web app and the iPhone and Android apps (together, “Tickleaf”) — provided by Ketryon AB, organisation number 559551-1030, Solbackavägen 13D, 632 22 Eskilstuna, Sweden (“we”, “us”).

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Tickleaf.
• You sign in with codes and links sent to your email, so whoever can read your inbox can open your account. Keep your email secure, and tell us if you think someone else got in.
• One person per account. You're responsible for what happens in yours.

We may introduce paid plans or features in the future. If we do, they'll come with their price and terms shown up front, and nothing you already use will start costing money without you choosing it.

Everything you put into Tickleaf — tasks, notes, loops — stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy, sync and show it only as needed to provide Tickleaf to you, for as long as it's in your account.

We don't look at your content except to fix a problem you've asked us to look into, or where the law requires it. We never use it for advertising or to train AI models.

Please don't:

• break the law with Tickleaf, or store content that's illegal;
• try to get into other people's accounts or data, or test our security without our written permission;
• overload the service, send automated traffic at it, or get around limits such as the cap on sign-in emails;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer Tickleaf, except where the law lets you.

Tickleaf's software, design, name and the sticky-note mark belong to Ketryon. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Tickleaf under these terms. Nothing else transfers to you.

We love hearing ideas. If you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve Tickleaf without owing you anything — but we'll be grateful.

We work to keep Tickleaf available and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may add, change or remove features. If we ever plan to shut Tickleaf down, we'll tell you at least 60 days ahead.

You can stop using Tickleaf and delete your account at any time in Settings. Deleting it removes your content for good.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Unless it would be unlawful or let harm continue, we'll tell you why first.

Tickleaf is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we don't promise that it will meet every need or be free of errors — so please don't rely on it alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause serious harm. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, or for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law — for example for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence — or takes away rights you have as a consumer.

If you downloaded Tickleaf from the Apple App Store:

• these terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we — not Apple — are responsible for the app and its content;
• your licence lets you use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules;
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;
• if the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation;
• we, not Apple, handle any claims about the app — including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance and consumer protection claims;
• if anyone claims the app infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with it;
• you confirm you're not in a country under a US government embargo or on a US list of prohibited parties;
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

If you downloaded Tickleaf from Google Play, Google Play's terms of service also apply to the download.

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you're a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

If something goes wrong, write to hello@ketryon.com and we'll try to sort it out. Consumers in Sweden can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN). Otherwise, disputes go to the Swedish courts — or, if you're a consumer, to the courts where you live.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then; carrying on after that means you accept the new terms.
