Last updated 5 October 2026 · See also Privacy policy
The short version
- In the app or on the web: Settings → Delete account.
- Can't sign in? Email hello@ketryon.com from your account's address.
- Your account, tasks, loops and settings are deleted at once.
- The last backup copy expires within 24 hours. Only Plus payment records are kept, as the law requires.
- Delete single tasks or loops, or empty the Archive, without deleting your account.
- Download your data first if you want a copy.
The summary helps you read the full text below; the full text is what applies.
01Delete your account
Settings → Delete account, in the Tickleaf app or on the web. It takes a few seconds.
- Open Tickleaf on your iPhone or Android phone, or at tickleaf.app/app, and sign in.
- Go to Settings. In the app, tap your initial in the top right.
- Choose Delete account, then confirm with Delete for good.
Your account is deleted at once, on every device, and you're signed out. A Tickleaf Plus subscription ends at the same time, so you aren't charged again.
02If you can't sign in
Email hello@ketryon.com from the address on your account, and we'll delete it for you.
Write to hello@ketryon.com from the email address you use for Tickleaf and ask us to delete your account. We reply to confirm, delete the account and everything in it, and tell you when it's done — within one month at the latest, usually much sooner.
03What's deleted, and what's kept
Everything is deleted, apart from a database backup that expires within 24 hours, and Plus payment records the law makes us keep.
| Data | What happens | When |
|---|---|---|
| Your account (email address) and settings | Deleted | At once |
| Your tasks, notes, loops and the days you ticked them off | Deleted | At once |
| Sign-in records (hashed codes and links) | Deleted | At once |
| The database's rolling backup | Your data expires from it | Within 24 hours |
| The copy on your other devices | Can't sync any more. Signing out on that device removes it | When you sign out there |
| Short-lived hosting request logs | Expire on their own | Within days |
| Plus invoices and payment records (with Stripe) | Kept, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires | Seven years |
Apart from those payment records, we don't keep anything: no copy for us, nothing for advertising, nothing sold or shared. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
04Delete some of your data, and keep your account
Delete single tasks and loops, or empty your Archive, from inside the app.
- A task: open it and choose Delete. In the Archive, swipe a finished task left (phone) or use its delete button (web).
- A loop: open it in Loops and choose Delete. The days you ticked it off go with it.
- Everything you've finished: Archive → Empty archive.
05Keep a copy first
Settings → Download your data gives you everything as a file before you delete it.
You get a JSON file with your tasks, loops and settings. Once your account is deleted we can't recover anything.
